I Me Mine - Places/things that inspire me

Before any manipulation. The colours in this photo don't show how it was
a sunny day
Cropping

Curves are ajusted to make the image brighter, as well as bringing out the
colours. This makes the image seems more cheery, as well as bringing out the details
in the groyne more, such as textures and contrast between itself and the beach
The Final result. The higher contrast and brighness really brings out the
bright blue sea, and all it's details. This deffinatly makes the image more cheery and
more interesting to look at.

This image is the remaints of a house, which fell down the cliff into the
sea. The image looks pretty good how it is, there is not much need for alot of manipulation.
The image is cropped towards the remaints, mainly to show the main subject and cut out wasted and not interesting surroundings. It was also slightly brightended with contrast lowered, to remove the orange effect
which the camera captured slightly over the greens.
This image had a nice view of the scenery around
and along the beach. Although it was a clear sunny day, the camera made the whole
area look really dull and grey.

Here the contrast is brought up slightly, as well as brightness. The image is also
cropped to seem more landscape. It still seems quite dull, making the
day look cloudy.
Using curves, the beach has been completely brightened up to bring out the bright blue and make the scene
look sunny. The rocks and grass are also more bright and pleasurable, and the contrast is
also showing between the rocks a great deal more. I am overall happy with this photo, as the manipulation
has really made it seem more pleasurble and alot closer to the original experience.

This photo turned out like to be the one above, although taken on a clear day, turned out to be dull. one of the reasons i picked this photo is because the seas had a nice blues slightly emerged with green. there was also nice sways in the sand with pebbles.
here the photo is cropped to remove the large sandy bottom area and some of the left. The image is brightened.
Here the curves are edited bringing out the contrast and textures in the sea which make up the colours. the colours are also a lot more stronger which pulls out the blue colours of the sea which is the main aspect of the photo.

the finished version slightly cropped to the bottom and slightly brighter sky.
Here there is a picture of a beach with a colourful town in the distance. I thought this
would be a good idea to try and capture this as landscape or postcard photography.

Keeping the colours natural the contrast has barley been ajusted, with only
the photo brightened up to bring out the sunny areas. The photo has also been cropped to look more landscape too taking most of the bottom and top areas off, and preserving the buildings.

Here i thought of producing something more quirky and interesting.  The beach huts are colourful although they do seem small in the image and slightly far off.
Here using the automatic select tool the background has been made completely black and white, making the image more unique. The beach huts have been left coloured.
Using levels the contrast is brought out bringing out the huts, and also the contrast between the wall, stairs and sand.
